Federal Realty Investment Trust is currently sourcing for a part-time Customer Service Representative to join our Concierge team at Santana Row. This individual is an enthusiastic person who can, under the direction of the Concierge Manager, drive Santana Row Concierge to achieve and provide exceptional customer service to Santana Row's shoppers and general public. This position will be part-time, working 16-26 hours per week and must be available to work a flexible schedule which includes afternoon, evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours. This role will provide shopping information, process gift card purchases, make restaurant reservations, wheel chair rental, and other services as expanded by the Marketing and Operations Department. The Customer Service Representative will be required to interact and cooperate with others to ensure that Federal Realty’s objectives and goals are achieved.
Responsibilities
Greet shoppers and retailers; entertain, chat, establish relationships
Inform guests by providing directions, answering questions
Suggest and Sell – based on needs of shopper, offer gift and store suggestions, information on sales, promotions and events taking place at Santana Row
Establish and maintain a strong rapport with retailers
Prepare end of day reports as directed by the Concierge Manager
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Santana Row services, amenities/ facilities and stores/ locations
Conduct all service functions of the Customer Service Center
Operate all equipment at Customer Service location to include phones, computer, gift card system, FAX machine, and printer
Offer “on call” service to retailers with gift card issues
Assist marketing department with implementation and execution of marketing programs and special events
Assist operations team with any operational tasks requested on a daily basis
Assemble resources (people, materials, support) to complete tasks that are requested
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1+ years experience in a previous customer service role
High School Diploma preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple deadlines, and remaining professional at all times
Proactively seek opportunities to provide exceptional customer service
Strong oral and written communication skills to include communicating effectively with customers, coworkers, external business partners, vendors and tenants
Proactive, approachable and solution focused
Must be flexible and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
